Tommy Hager: Head Coach
Tommy Hager is the Head Coach of the Apex Skip-Its jump rope demonstration team. Tommy is a Wake County Physical Education teacher. Before teaching, he worked at the Cary Family YMCA where he started the YMCA Super Skippers jump rope competition team.
Coach Audrey: Assistant Coach
Coach Jessie: Assistant Coach
Jessie R. is a Coach for the Apex Skip-Its jump rope demonstration team. Jessie joined the Skip-Its in 2021 and brings both technical expertise and enthusiasm to practices. Her favorite tricks include the rodeo and kamikaze, and she inspires athletes with her drive to push limits—like dreaming of performing on the Olympic stage. Jessie’s leadership helps jumpers stay motivated, confident, and excited to grow.
Coach Katie: Assistant Coach
Katie T. is a Coach for the Apex Skip-Its jump rope demonstration team. Katie has been part of the Skip-Its since 2015 and is known for her creativity with freestyle skills like mamba handle releases and her ability to mentor athletes of all ages. Outside of coaching, she brings energy and fun to performances, often encouraging jumpers with her positive spirit and love of the sport.
